NOVA has a Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA) program for all our students who graduate from NOVA and meet the college or university agreement requirements. The program saves you thousands of student fees. It is recommended to meet with a transfer advisor on your NOVA campus to help you through the process. William and Mary has a welcome and bridge program agreement with RBC. As a NOVA graduate, you get admission to more than 40 colleges and universities if you meet the agreement requirements between NOVA and that university. Save thousands of student fees starting with NOVA. Let`s help them follow the right path to a successful career! The VCU has guaranteed accreditation agreements with a number of institutions. These agreements define the conditions for admission guaranteed to the VCU by the conclusion of an associate diploma. The agreements are valid up to one year after the end of the program and do not guarantee admission to professional or specialized programs such as art, engineering or health sciences. For more information, see the state`s transmission policy. The GAA or Guaranteed Admission Agreement is a document that provides a clear transfer route for students who acquire AA, AS or AA-S degrees from VCCS College or Richard Bland College. Students who follow the GAA and meet all the conditions of the agreement will receive transfer authorization to Mason starting in the fall of 2014.
GAA admission is available to students who obtain a first bachelor`s degree. Students with a bachelor`s degree are not eligible for admission according to GAA. NOVA has entrusted articulation agreements with many institutions. These agreements set the transfer conditions for NOVA students who are in related programs of study. They define how courses, programs or entire categories of programs are transferred to another institution and may include hospitality guarantees. Counsellors can provide students with more accurate information about how these agreements relate to individual transfer plans. There are articulation agreements between individual community colleges and some schools or programs at the VCU. VCU has also entered into separate Memorandum of Understanding agreements with individual community colleges for reverse transfer, co-registration and VCU Honors College.
